You write finished pieces for product teams that ship buttons nobody understands. Clients pay about $80–$160/hour or a project fee after you have three samples.
This is freelance writing. You interview, structure, and deliver copy for product teams that ship buttons nobody understands. You get paid per project or about $80–$160/hour once you leave contest platforms and bill direct. A normal week is outreach or assigned drafts, one revision round, and invoices. Three targeted samples and a one-page offer come before quitting a job. Direct pitches beat new platform profiles after the first two clients.
Upwork, direct email, and a portfolio site on a computer you own: $0. First paid gig is often 1–4 weeks with samples; 2–8 weeks from a cold start (Upwork Freelance Forward / SCORE).
Each required material has a matching shop listing — photo, price, and a way to add it to the cart.
